North Star Lake
North Star Lake is clean and clear. You can see 16 feet down. There is a lot of structure on the lake and plenty to see. It is perfect for fishing as well as other lake activities: swimming, skiing, snorkeling to see what is under the water and we have even had people scuba dive.
We can give you helpful hints on North Star Lake when you come into the lodge.
When you are here you can spend all your time at the resort or you can spend time exploring and enjoying the area. There is plenty to keep you busy. You can go shopping, antiquing, go to a movie or out for dinner.
Perhaps you want to explore the more than 100 lakes within 10 miles of Cedar Point, take a hike on the trails at Suomi Hills or at the “Lost 40,” or go to the Edge of the Wilderness Discovery Center in Marcell.

Summer is a wonderful time to vacation “up north.” But, have you thought about coming up in the fall? The fall can also be a wonderful time to vacation. The weather can be fantastic: warm during the day and cool in the evening. So, if you are able to be flexible with your time, come to Cedar Point in the fall for a full week, weekend or a long weekend. The cabin rates are the lowest in the fall too.
